Tree Destruction–

There have been 2 cases where the Jersey Devil has knocked over a tree during a sighting, and a third possible case where the creature was not sighted but suspected to be present when the tree fell instead.  This concept is far too random for three people to have fabricated on their own, further building the case for the creatures existence.  Certainly this is a very powerful creature, as backed by many witnesses to it.  Tree destruction could be used as an output for aggression, which is also common for some mammals.  You may ask for what reasons would a creature tear down a tree and proceed to flee, what could cause such aggression?  There is no telling for sure, but it could be used as a scare tactic which is something primates and reptiles commonly do.
